About Mak

I'm Muhammad Adnan Kamal, Mak for short. I'm Head of AI Engineering at CR8 AI, where I lead the engineering behind a hybrid SaaS and agentic AI platform used by global brands including Unilever, Philips and PepsiCo. I live in Karachi, where our engineering is based.

My work today is production agentic and generative AI: RAG pipelines, tool-calling agent workflows, review and approval systems for regulated content, and generation that ends in print-ready or machine-ready output. I own the AI roadmap across client workstreams and build the cross-functional team that delivers it.

That work sits on more than twenty years of engineering. I started on factory floors and in laboratories, building data acquisition, closed-loop and motion control, machine vision and safety systems for automotive, pharmaceutical and industrial clients in Pakistan. From 2015 to 2023 I built high-throughput C/C++ servers, cloud gaming streaming and SaaS platforms. Those physical-world engineering foundations are what I bring to Physical AI.

My research-based MS in Artificial Intelligence at NED University of Engineering and Technology (2023–2025) studied a vision-language model as assistive technology for visually impaired people.
