- Organisation
- gamigo group (Gorillabox subsidiary)
- Role
- Senior C++ Team Lead (part-time, remote)
Context
Cloud gaming runs the game on a server and streams it to the player, so every stage between frame and screen adds latency. I led C++ work on this part-time and remotely for Gorillabox, a gamigo group subsidiary.
What I led
A Stadia-style cloud gaming stack: Visual C++ with FFmpeg, the NVIDIA Video Codec SDK for H.265 video and Opus for audio, with a C# client and a WebRTC browser client.
Stack
Visual C++, FFmpeg, Opus, NVIDIA Video Codec SDK, H.265, C# and WebRTC.
