Context

IntegriShield runs a compliance-monitoring platform. I worked remotely with the company, based in Kansas City, from August 2023 to December 2024.

What I built

I introduced AI into the platform, working with the President and product leadership.

  • Semantic search with BERT and ElasticSearch.
  • A rule-based engine for analysing hierarchical JSON.
  • Single sign-on across Azure AD, Google and Okta using OIDC.
  • Email automation through the Microsoft Graph and Gmail APIs.
  • Web scraping with Puppeteer.
  • Notifications on AWS Lambda.

How it works

Semantic search embeds content with BERT and serves it from ElasticSearch, so queries match on meaning rather than exact terms. Alongside it, the rule engine walks hierarchical JSON and applies explicit rules, which keeps compliance decisions deterministic and explainable.
